Residence Life

Department Overview

The Office of Residence Life is overseen by a team of professional staff members who ensure the smooth operation of residential life, attending to student needs and maintaining order within the residence halls. They serve as a valuable resource for students, offering guidance and support during times of questions or crises.

Complementing the professional staff are undergraduate or graduate students known as Resident Assistants (RAs). These RAs serve as peer support figures and role models for students residing in the halls. Each floor is assigned an RA who acts as a primary point of contact for residents, offering a range of assistance including friendship, resources, peer counseling, and mediation as needed. RAs undergo continuous training to better serve the student community.
