We ensure a safe, clean, and efficient campus environment through maintenance and repairs of buildings, groundskeeping and landscaping, event support, safety and security measures, sustainability initiatives, and management of projects. Our dedicated team is committed to serving the university community and helping with maintenance requests, facility inquiries, and event logistics.

Mission & Goals

The mission of the Facilities Management Department is to ensure that the grounds, buildings, and vehicles utilized by the staff, students, and visitors are properly maintained. 

Resources

Facilities Management now uses Limble, a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), to streamline work order submissions and improve response times. To report an issue or request assistance, please use the Facilities Work Request Form. You can also submit requests by scanning QR codes posted around campus, which are linked to specific locations for faster service.

What rooms can I reserve in the library, and how do I book one?

The library offers two types of spaces that can be reserved for meetings or study sessions:

Library Conference Room (L103)

  • Capacity: Up to 10 people

  • Features: Non-technical room with a whiteboard; no projector or screen

Study Rooms (L100 & L104)

  • Capacity: 2–7 people

  • Features: Non-technical rooms; L104 includes a whiteboard; no projector or screen

How to Reserve a Room:

To request a reservation, email library@captechu.edu with the following details:

  • Your Name

  • Requested Date & Time

  • A brief Description of your meeting or event

The library staff will follow up to confirm availability.

How do I request event setup services?

Once you have approved the use of a specific room, please submit a request for any additional setup needs, such as tables, chairs, or audio-visual equipment (e.g., speakers, microphones). 

Example Work Order Request: 

  • Event Location: Room 204, Main Building 
  • Date/Time: September 25, 2024, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM 
  • Setup Needed: 10 tables, 30 chairs, podium, and microphone setup for guest speaker.
