Find Capitol Dissertations

Overview

Description: This guide provides step-by-step instructions for searching, viewing, and downloading dissertations published by Capitol Technology University in the ProQuest Dissertations and Theses database. 

Estimated Time of Completion (ETOC): 10 minutes. 

Instructions

  1. Visit the Virtual Library Databases page. 
  2. Select “ProQuest Dissertations and Theses” database. 
  3. In the search bar, enter: sch(Capitol Technology University).

  4. Press the magnifying glass icon or hit Enter on your keyboard to start the search.
  5. The search results page will display Capitol Technology University dissertations.

Viewing options on the results page: 

  • Select the dissertation title to preview and read it online. 
  • Click “Abstract/Details” to view subject terms, keywords, advisor, and committee information. 
  • Choose “Preview-PDF” to download an abbreviated version. 
  • Click “Full text-PDF” to download the complete dissertation. 
  • Select “References” to view the cited references in the dissertation. 
  • Enter additional search terms to locate dissertations from universities worldwide. 

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure you are logged into the library portal. 
  • Clear your browser cache. 
  • Use a recommended browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
