How to Activate the Transcript During a Zoom Meeting

Instructions
- Once you’re in a Zoom meeting, click on the “Live Transcript” button in the meeting toolbar.
- Select “Enable Auto-Transcription” to activate live captions.
- The transcript will appear at the bottom of your screen, updating in real-time as participants speak.
- You can also click “View Full Transcript” to see the entire chat transcript in a side panel.
Troubleshooting
- If the “Live Transcript” button is missing, ask the host to enable it.
- Check your Zoom client settings to ensure transcription is supported.
