Navigating the Canvas Dashboard

Overview

Description: This guide provides an overview of the Canvas Dashboard and its key features. 

Estimated time of completion: 3 minutes 

Instructions

  1. After logging in, view your Canvas Dashboard.
  2. Explore the course tiles that represent your enrolled courses.

  3. Use the left-hand Global Navigation menu to access Account, Dashboard, Courses, Calendar, Inbox, and Help.

  4. Switch between Card View, List View, or Recent Activity View by selecting the options in the top right corner.

  5. Click Courses to see a full list of your courses.

Troubleshooting

  • If you can’t see your courses, ensure you are enrolled, and the course is published.
  • Refresh your browser or try accessing the Dashboard from a different browser.
