How to Allow Third-Party Cookies in Chrome

Overview

Description: This article explains how to enable third-party cookies in your browser, a step that can help resolve various issues related to website functionality, such as login problems or features not loading properly.

Instructions

  1. Open Chrome and click the three dots in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Click on Privacy and security in the left sidebar.

  4. Select Third-party cookies.

  5. Ensure that “Allow third-party cookies” is enabled.

Troubleshooting

  • Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Go to Chrome settings, select Privacy and security, and click Clear browsing data. Choose Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, then click Clear data. 
  • Update Chrome: Ensure your Chrome browser is up to date by clicking on the three dots, selecting Help, and then About Google Chrome. If there’s an update available, install it. 
  • Use a Different Browser: If the issue persists, try accessing eSyllabus in a different browser, such as Firefox. 
  • Restart Your Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve software issues.
