What is Autodesk Revit?
Autodesk Revit is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) software that enables architects, engineers, and construction professionals to create detailed 3D models of buildings and structures. It is part of the Autodesk Suite, which facilitates design and collaboration.

Downloading Autodesk Revit
Students can get free one-year educational access to Autodesk products. This access is renewable as long as you remain a student. The initial approval process may take up to seven days, so begin as early as possible.
- Unlock Educational Access:
- Visit the Autodesk Educational Access Page and click Get Started.
- Follow the prompts to create an account and verify your student status.
- If you need assistance, refer to the Student’s Guide to the Education Plan.
- Download Autodesk Revit:
- Once access is secured, download Autodesk Revit from your Autodesk account dashboard.
- If additional Autodesk tools are required for your course, download them at this stage.
