How to Clear the Cache in Chrome?

Description: This guide will help you clear the cache in Google Chrome to improve browser performance and resolve potential issues with websites.

Instructions
- In the top-right corner of the Chrome window, click the three vertical dots (menu button).
- From the drop-down menu, choose “Settings.”
- Scroll down to the “Privacy and Security” section and click on “Clear browsing data.”
- In the “Time range” drop-down, select how much data you want to delete. To clear everything, select “All time.”
- Make sure the box next to “Cached images and files” is checked. You can also uncheck other options like browsing history or cookies if you don’t want to clear those.
- Click the “Clear data” button to delete the cache.
Troubleshooting
- The cache isn’t clearing: Try restarting Chrome after following these steps to ensure the changes take effect.
- Some websites aren’t loading properly: Clearing the cache can remove some temporary data, so it may take a moment for websites to load as the cache rebuilds.
