How to Elect Electronic 1098T via the MyCapitol Portal
Overview
Description: This guide provides step-by-step instructions for students to elect electronic delivery of their 1098-T tax form through the MyCapitol Portal.

Instructions
- Navigate to the MyCapitol Portal
Open your web browser and go to: https://mycapitol.captechu.edu/ics - Log In to the Portal
Use the login fields at the top right of the page to sign in.
If you’ve forgotten your password, select I forgot my password to reset it.
- Select the ‘Student’ Tab
Click the Student tab in the grey toolbar at the top of the page.
- Go to ‘Student Finances’
From the left sidebar, click on Student Finances.
- Elect Electronic 1098-T Statements
Under the finances section, select Consent to Electronic Statements.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure you are logged into the portal.
- If the portal does not load correctly, try clearing your browser’s cache.
- Use a recommended browser such as Chrome or Firefox.
