How to Update Direct Deposit Information via the MyCapitol Portal

Overview

Description: This guide provides step-by-step instructions for students on how to update their direct deposit information through the MyCapitol Portal. 

Estimated Time of Completion (ETOC): 10 minutes 

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the MyCapitol Portal 
    Open your web browser and go to: https://mycapitol.captechu.edu/ics 
  2. Log In to the Portal 
    Enter your login credentials in the fields at the top right of the page. 
    If you’ve forgotten your password, click the I forgot my password link to reset it.

  3. Select the ‘Student’ Tab 
    Once logged in, click on the Student tab in the grey toolbar at the top of the page.

  4. Go to ‘Student Finances’ 
    In the left sidebar, select Student Finances.

  5. Update Direct Deposit Information 
    Locate and follow the link or instructions provided on this page to update your direct deposit details.

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure you are logged into the MyCapitol Portal. 
  • If you forgot your password, use the password recovery option on the login screen. 
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies if the page does not load correctly. 
  • Use a recommended browser such as Chrome or Firefox for the best results.
