Department Overview
The Human Resources department is tasked with overseeing and supporting the entire life cycle of university employees. This encompasses various functions including change management, talent management, compensation, organizational development, performance management, and risk management.
Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET
Summer Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET
Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET
Mission & Goals
The primary objective of the Human Resources department is to develop and implement a human resource strategy that aligns with the university’s business plan and strategic direction. This involves delivering consistent, comprehensive, and collaborative services aimed at fostering a positive organizational culture and ensuring that Human Resources programs are aligned with the university’s overarching goals and values in serving our students.

- To apply for a position at Capitol Technology University:
- Go to the Capitol Technology University's website at www.captechu.edu
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Employment Link
- All open positions are posted on Capitol’s job board.
- Select the position you would like to view, and you will be taken to ADP Workforce Now to apply.
- Complete the application form and upload your résumé.
- Complete all the questions on the form, which helps determine your eligibility for the position.
- Leaving blank spaces may delay the onboarding and processing process if you are hired.
- You may apply for more than one position.
- Once you have applied, you and the hiring manager are notified of receipt of your application through ADP.
Please note that the human resources department is not involved in the selection process and cannot provide updates on the status of your application. (This is done on a departmental level)
